Little Explorers Petting Zoo rocks!!
I booked them for my school during April Animal Month, and the kids loved it! The 2 - 6 year olds were engaged for 2 hours straight, which is absolutely amazing.
The animals very friendly, my personal favorite were the little baby goats and cute rabbits. They provided food, combs, bottles, and hand sanitizing liquid. The two ladies that came, (Ms. Tracy & I forgot the other lady), were super friendly. I am definitely going to book them every year for the school.

We hired Little Explorers Mobile Petting Zoo for my son's 3rd birthday party and the animals a huge hit with both kids and adults alike. Aside from wonderfully friendly ad diverse group of animals (my personal favorite was Cinnabear, the Alpaca while my son LOVED Jackie the giant tortoise), Traci and Mike were incredibly knowledgeable, caring and extremely thorough in set up and clean up for the party. We couldn't have asked for better entertainment for our party and plan to hire them again next year!

I haven't used this zoo's services but I just saw them at Whole Foods during a toy drive and I am so impressed. I've never seen a petting zoo with such well cared for animals. I'm always a little sad for the animals at petting zoos but not this time. You can tell that these animals are family pets and well loved. I was also shocked by how clean all of the animals were. You could tell they aren't kept freezing outside in the mud. It appears a 2 hour party is $325! That's much less than we spend at the bouncy place! Looks like we have next year's birthday planned!

We (my fellow event planning coworker and I) have used Little Explorers three times now and each time we have a reliably great experience. We have annual Spring and Winter parties for all the children of our company's employees and Little Explorers has definitely raised the bar.
The kids literally go crazy for their animals and the best part is that the animals know how to deal with the children in this hyped up state of mind. You can tell that these animals are well loved and well taken care of - not to mention fabulously socialized.
The wonderful owners of Little Explorers literally set-up and break-down all by themselves and take the trash with them. So, there really isn't a single downside of hiring them. Not to mention that for what they do, they're rates are more than reasonable and affordable.
There is no doubt in my mind we will use them again and again and I would recommend them to anyone. They also made history in the TransAmerica Building as the first animals -ever- to be let in, that's how great they are. Just stellar.

We booked the petting zoo for our son's first birthday this past weekend and everyone loved it! The animals were so friendly. It wasn't like the petting zoo at the zoo where the animals (especially the goats) practically jump you for food. There were so many different animals and it was definitely better than affordable.
Tracy and Kris were very professional and super nice. They provided everything for the animals, set up and cleaned up everything after. I'd definitely recommend Little Explorers Petting Zoo to everyone.

My daughter's 4th birthday was in July and I called around to every petting zoo I could find in the Bay Area. Little Explorers had the best prices and they were super friendly. We had over 35 people at the party, 22 were kids ranging from 1-7 and they ALL loved it. She had so many animals, they were clean and very friendly. I would book them again and recommend to all my friends/family!!

This is a no-joke full variety petting zoo. We booked Tracy and Kris for a 1st birthday party. We live in SF, so we were a little concerned about how to corral the animals in our teeny tiny backyard. It worked out perfectly - they bring wire fences that they set up quickly and the animals stay put (with a couple errant jumping bunnies and chickens). There is such a variety of animals - sheep, goats, bunnies, gerbils (or hamsters?), chickens, ducks, a pig and even an alpaca. Before they arrived, we thought maybe, a couple of each animal, but there were so many, it really was a zoo! All the animals are really sweet, gentle and very kid friendly (picture a bunch of little kiddies squeezing the bunnies very tightly with glee). The kids loved the animals and dare I say, the adults loved them even more. If you need to have the animals go through your house to get to the backyard, give Tracy/Kris a headsup and give them an idea of how far the distance is, so they bring the appropriate coverings to walk the animals through and across (we didn't, but luckily we had extra tarp in our garage). We had no accidents in the house, and it made for quite a sight. Overall, a great success - highly recommended!

I hired Little explorers for a concert that I did at the Dunsmuir-Hellman Estate. They were amazing! They were very professional, worked extremely well with the kids, the animals are very well loved and very loving. Everyone raved about the petting zoo and it turned out to be a big success at the event. I will definitely hire them again. thank you!

We had Little Explorers come out to our son's 3rd birthday party and it couldn't have been a better experience! Kris and her assistant arrived promptly and set up in a matter of minutes. They took care of everything, professionally and cheerfully. The animals were adorable, and very friendly with everyone. A big hit all the way around! If you're looking to book a petting zoo in the Bay Area, this is the one.

Tortoises, geckos, and scorpions, oh my!
I booked the Reptile & Exotic Zoo for the pre-schoolers and the little ones had a blast! Little Explorers is an amazing concept and I'm jealous I didn't come up with this idea myself.
Ms. Tracy brought several bearded dragons, geckos, hissing cockroaches, scorpions, hermit crabs, toads, snakes, frogs, lizards, and my favorite a 35 year old tortoise named Martha. All the creatures were well behaved and unbelievably docile, even with the hyperactive children.
Love'em!
